Accessibility Information
The Lesher Center offers a variety of services, aimed at accommodating accessibility requests to the best of our ability. Those most commonly used include Assistive Listening Devices, Accessible Seating locations, other seating accommodations, and parking. Other services, such as large print programs, require two weeks advance notice. Note – not all performances at the Center produce a printed program.

Assistive Listening Devices
The Lesher Center for the Arts has improved our assistive listening solution, so that people with hearing loss or individuals who are hard of hearing can better enjoy plays, concerts and performances. The Margaret Lesher Theatre, Hofmann Theatre, and The George & Sonja Vukasin Theatre have FM Listen Technologies systems installed.
Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) amplify and clarify sound. These devices are available free to audience members. An usher, stationed on our second floor, issues devices for the Hofmann Theatre and Margaret Lesher Theatre. You’ll find the ALD cart and usher stationed near the elevators, in the center lobby area. Receivers for the George & Sonja Vukasin Theatre are available from the Vukasin House Manager, positioned in the Ticket Office Lobby. All devices are distributed free-of-charge on a first-come, first-served basis prior to every performance. Each device has a headphone jack for either a neckloop (for patrons with telecoil compatible hearing aids) or for headphones. The Lesher Center has headphones available to borrow; however, patrons are welcome to bring their own wired headphones (with a 3.5 mm jack) to use with the FM receivers.
For more information during a performance, please visit with any House Manager, identified by the yellow vest.
Del Valle Theatre, located at 1963 Tice Valley Blvd, Walnut Creek, has a Sennheiser Assistive Listening system in service. Receivers are available free to audience members on a first-come, first served basis from a Technician, stationed on the second floor near the elevators.
