Diwali Celebration

October 17 - 18, 2025 

This two-day celebration of the festival of lights features a headlining performance by comedian Hari Kondabolu and a drone light show over the Lesher Center on Friday, October 17, and free indoor and outdoor events at our Street Fair on Saturday, October 18. Join us for live music, dance, storytelling, and art making experiences.

Diwali Mandala Making Workshop

 Three oil lamps and the text Diwali at the Lesher Center for the Arts

Get creative and dive into the colorful world of Indian mandalas in this hands-on, all-ages workshop! Discover the beauty and meaning behind mandalas and their intricate designs from artist Swati Rastogi. Then tap into your creativity to make a vibrant mandala using a variety of media. Everyone will leave with a one-of-a-kind, ready-to-hang artwork and plenty of inspiration to keep the creativity flowing! 

This workshop is FREE and open to all ages. No registration required. Capacity is limited to 24 participants per session, and space is available on a first come, first served basis.

Choose one of two sessions to attend: 
Session 1: 12:30 โ€“ 2:00 pm 
Session 2: 2:00 โ€“ 3:30 pm 

BONUS: Make a day of it and visit our Diwali Celebration Street Fair before or after the workshop! Join us for live music, delicious food, and art making experiences! The event is FREE and open to the public on October 18 from 12 โ€“ 4 pm.
