This fall, spontaneity, laughter, and connection take center stage at the second annual Diablo Improv Festival (DIF), a three-day celebration of unscripted theater at the Lesher Center for the Arts in downtown Walnut Creek.
Whether you're a seasoned improviser, a comedy fan, or simply improv curious, DIF is an opportunity to see great live improv, try it for yourself, and become part of a welcoming creative community. No experience is necessary. Just a willingness to play!

About this Workshop
In this workshop, you'll dive into the essential tools that bring truth and spontaneity to the stage. Will practice engaging exercises that will help you connect more deeply with your scene partner and stay fully present in every moment. Discover the richness of improvised scenes when rooted in honesty, commitment, and real connection.

About the Instructor
Regina Saisi is a San Francisco-based actor and improviser. She is an instructor at American Conservatory Theater, the Marin County School District and BATS Improv where she serves as Dean. She has taught at San Francisco Conservatory of Music, UC Santa Cruz and KAUST in Saudi Arabia and has performed internationally in Belgium, Holland, Italy, Finland, France, Sweden, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon. A pioneer in the development of long-form improv, she is a founding member of the improvisational theatre companies True Fiction Magazine and Pulp Playhouse, and is a Company member of BATS Improv where she served as Artistic Director from 2001-2004.
