Debussy's La Mer (The Sea) forms a magical, ever-changing soundscape that has enchanted audiences for more than a century. Composer-in-residence Josiah Catalan's ocean-inspired new work -- commissioned by the DSO -- will transport listeners of today and tomorrow. And cellist extraordinaire Evan Kahn will delight with two wonderful works you won't often get to hear: Alexander Glazunov's Melodies for cell and orchestra and Erich Korngold's Cello Concerto.
