Charles Perrault's enchanting fairy tale springs to life in this hour-long ballet set to the exhilirating Tchaikovsky score. Choreography by Katarina Wester after Marius Petipa highlights the talents of the company along with featured guest artists Jenna Maule as Princess Aurora, and David Fonnegra as Prince Florimund.

Catching the Light
On the same program Contra Costa Ballet is pleased to present Catching the Light, a dynamic contemporary piece created by San Francisco Ballet Soloist James Sofranko to the pulsating score by Karl Jenkins. This is the second piece Mr. Sofranko has choreographed for the Contra Costa Ballet.
