The final concert of the season features music from West Side  Story including the symphonic dances along with several arias and duets. Returning to perform with the Diablo  symphony this season is the stunning young soprano Aimee Puentes singing the role of Maria. She is joined by tenor Jimmy Kansau in the role of Tony. Kodaly’s suite from the opera Hary Janos overflows with beautiful music as the old Hussar regales the Hungarian villagers with his fantastic tales of heroism.
